Day 1 of 2 Weeks Road Trip in USA West Coast

You should begin and end your journey in the Los Angeles area. Try to spend at least one day exploring beach towns or experiencing the Hollywood lifestyle. Santa Monica, Venice, and, of course, Malibu were our favorites among coastal communities. Enjoy a sunset at the Santa Monica Pier, and don’t miss the iconic Venice sign near Venice Beach. Aside from the coastal villages, take a trek to the Hollywood Sign viewpoint and drive through the neighboring palm-lined alleys.

Day 6: Bryce Canyon National Park

After the two day long fun in Las Vegas drive to Bryce Canyon which is 4 hours away from Las Vegas. The park’s main attraction is Bryce Canyon, which, despite its name, is actually a cluster of massive natural amphitheaters on the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce is notable for its geological features known as hoodoos, which were formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rock. Visitors to the park can enjoy stunning views thanks to the rocks’ red, orange, and white colors. Bryce Canyon National Park is substantially smaller and at a greater elevation than nearby Zion National Park. The rim of Bryce ranges from 8,000 to 9,000 feet (2,400 to 2,700 meters). Make sure you watch the Sunset!

Day 7 and 8: Moab

Watch the sunrise in Bryce Canyon and leave for Moab, it is a 4-hour drive and there are so many hiking places that you will have to stay here for at least 2 days. Moab is a city in east Utah. It serves as the gateway to Arches National Park’s spectacular red rock formations. Canyonlands National Park in the Southwest is home to Mesas and Buttes cut by the Green and Colorado rivers, as well as Native American rock art. Dinosaur tracks can be found at locations such as Bull Canyon Overlook and Copper Ridge. The Museum of Moab houses dinosaur bones and archaeological artefacts.

The most popular hike in Arches is to Delicate Arch. This is the arch that appears in most images and on Utah’s license plate. That hike is slightly more challenging and longer (4.8 km or 3 miles), but it is well worth the effort if you have the time. Make sure to bring lots of water, especially in the summer when the heat is almost unbearable around midday.
